André Rehbein Sathler Guimarães

He holds a degree in Economics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1995), a master’s degree in Communication from the Methodist University of Sao Paulo (2005), and a master’s degree in Information Systems Management from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (2000). He holds a PhD in Philosophy (Artificial Intelligence) from the Federal University of Sao Carlos. He has experience as an educational manager, having served as chief of staff to the rector’s office (UNIMEP), undergraduate program coordinator (UNIMEP), academic vice-rector (Izabela Hendrix), director of the School of Management and Business (UNIMEP), pro-rector for undergraduate and continuing education (UNIMEP), and pro-rector for graduate studies, research, and extension (UNIMEP). He is a member of the Executive Committee of the National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (CNPq), a Capes consultant, a consultant for the Ministry of Justice and Citizenship’s “Thinking Law” project, a consultant for Global Partners Governance, and a country expert for V-Democracy (Varieties of Democracy). He is currently a legislative adviser in the leadership of the Brazilian Socialist Party and teaches in Cefor’s Professional Master’s Program in Legislative Power at the Chamber of Deputies.
