Claudio Luis de Camargo Penteado

Full Professor at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC).

He is a Full Professor at the Federal University of ABC. He holds a PhD in Social Sciences from PUC-SP. He teaches in UFABC’s Graduate Program in Human and Social Sciences and in UFABC’s Bachelor’s Program in Public Policy. He coordinates the OBSERVA research group. He has studied the internet and politics since 2006. His research areas include online conflicts (information disorder, political debate on platforms, online populism, polarization, and other conflicts) and the use of digital technologies by social movements.
