PhD in Communication from Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ), postdoctoral researcher at INCT.DD, and Director of Technology and Special Studies at Instituto Democracia em Xeque.

He is Director of Technology and Thematic Studies at Instituto Democracia em Xeque (DX), secretary of the National Association for Disinformation Studies (ANEDe), and works as a researcher at the National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (INCT.DD), the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (Ibict), and the Federal University of Espirito Santo (UFES). He completed a postdoctoral fellowship focused on the internet and politics at INCT.DD and holds a PhD in Communication from Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ), with a doctoral research period at the University of Leeds (United Kingdom). He has been affiliated with the International Panel on the Information Environment (IPIE) since its founding at the Nobel Prize Committee, is a member of the Partnership for Countering Influence Operations Researchers Guild (PCIO) at the Carnegie Endowment, and serves on the advisory board of The Accelerator at Princeton University.
