She is an assistant professor in UFMG’s Department of Political Science and held the same position at UnB’s Institute of Political Science in 2025. In UFMG’s Graduate Program in Political Science, she completed a postdoctoral residency and earned her PhD and master’s degrees. Her dissertation, Dinamicas de acao coletiva dos entregadores por aplicativos no Brasil: Do corre cotidiano a regulamentacao da atividade, supervised by Ricardo F. Mendonca, won the CAPES, UFMG, and Compolitica dissertation awards, as well as UFMG’s Grand Dissertation Prize in the humanities. She is a researcher at Margem - UFMG, where she has developed several research projects. Her interests include social movements, protests and political participation; democratic theory, neoliberalism and democratic crisis; digital technologies and decent work; and the right to the city, the urban commons, and urban mobility.
