He has taught Communication Theory at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro from 1996 to the present. He holds a PhD in Communication from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2019), completed a sandwich doctorate at the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Arizona (2018), holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations (1995), and degrees in Advertising (1990), Journalism (1991), and Law (2009), all from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. He is an associate researcher at PUC-Rio’s Communication, Internet, and Politics Research Group (COMP) and at the National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (INCT.DD). He develops research in political communication, with a focus on Latin America. He is managing partner of Interball Consultoria Esportiva. He has executive experience in communication and marketing, with emphasis on sports, and specializes in football players’ career management.
