He is an associate professor of Sociology in the Department of Social Sciences at the Federal Fluminense University and a permanent professor in the Graduate Program in Political Sociology at UENF. He holds a degree in Social Sciences from the State University of Campinas (2003), a master’s degree in Social Anthropology from Unicamp (2006), and a PhD in Social Sciences from Rio de Janeiro State University (2012). He completed postdoctoral work at the Media, Film and Music School at the University of Sussex (2019). He coordinates no.ar: a research laboratory on everyday life and technology. He is a Young Scientist of Our State researcher (Faperj).
