Pedro Santos Mundim

PhD in Political Science from IUPERJ (now IESP-UERJ) and Associate Professor at the Federal University of Goias (UFG).

He is an associate professor at the Federal University of Goias (UFG) and holds a PhD in Political Science from IUPERJ (now IESP-UERJ). He develops research in political behavior and public opinion, with emphasis on quantitative methods applied to the social sciences. His analyses engage with rational choice theory and political psychology, perspectives he uses complementarily to investigate attitudes, elections, and political communication. He coordinated UFG’s Graduate Program in Political Science from 2016 to 2020. Between 2014 and 2015, he served as Special Adviser to the Cabinet and Director of the Public Opinion Research Office at the Social Communication Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic (SECOM).
