Registration is open for the “Compolítica School of Communication and Elections,” an online program organized by the Brazilian Association of Researchers in Communication and Politics (Compolítica). It will take place from May 18 to 26, with evening classes.

The Compolítica School of Communication and Elections aims to bring together researchers in communication and politics and professionals with extensive industry experience, many of whom also work in academia.
The National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (INCT.DD) supports the initiative. Its aim is to provide high-quality training that combines scientific rigor and professional practice, helping participants understand the main challenges of contemporary political communication in Brazil.
About the program
The program has seven evening sessions covering central election topics. Classes address reason and emotion in campaigns, voter behavior and voting-intention polls, strategic planning, digital mobilization, image building and positioning, accessibility in election campaigns, and strategy and content production. The aim is to give participants a broad, practical understanding of how campaigns work and how public opinion develops.
The teaching team brings together experts with established experience in political communication research and practice. They include Professor Luciana Panke, known for her studies of discourse and election campaigns; political scientist Emerson Cervi, who researches public opinion and elections; professor and consultant Paulo Loiola, who has experience in political marketing in Brazil and Latin America; journalist Deniza Gurgel, a specialist in strategic positioning and image management; researcher Leylianne Alves, who works at the intersection of communication, accessibility, and human rights; and journalist and strategist Dani Braga, who has extensive election campaign experience.

The Compolítica School of Communication and Elections is open to Compolítica members, students, and members of the public interested in the subject. Prices vary by enrollment option, with individual courses or the full package available. Special student rates and specific discounts for association members are available on prior request.
Registration is now open online. In some cases, proof of student status may be requested during or after registration.
