Since 2019, INCT.DD has held its Summer School on research methods for different fields in the humanities and social sciences. This year, to expand the reach and scope of its training, the Institute partnered with the Brazilian Association of Researchers in Communication and Politics (Compolítica). The result was a broad course with six modules and 247 graduates.
Held entirely online, the 2021 Summer School covered methods widely used in Brazilian research, including digital ethnography, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, data mining, focus groups, and interpretive approaches. The partnership with Compolítica also made a scholarship program possible, supporting 31 students from different regions of the country.
With this edition complete, INCT.DD has trained 326 students across the three editions of the Summer School.
