The National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (INCT.DD) is launching the e-book “Eleições municipais 2024: Campanhas e Estratégias digitais” (2024 Municipal Elections: Digital Campaigns and Strategies) at the eighth Brazilian Congress on Digital Democracy, Government and Politics in 2025. The collection is the work of INCT.DD’s Elections Working Group. Traditionally published in odd-numbered years, it presents associated researchers’ studies of the previous year’s electoral process.
Edited by researchers Carlos Locatelli (UFSC), Claudio Penteado (UFABC), and Emerson Cervi (UFPR), the collection has two parts. The first contains articles with research results on electoral dynamics in digital environments. The second contains studies of political contests beyond the digital sphere.
