Edited by Professor Emerson Urizzi Cervi and Professor MHelena Weber, the e-book “Impactos político-comunicacionais nas eleições brasileiras de 2018” (Political and Communication Impacts in Brazil’s 2018 Elections) is the result of joint work within the National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (INCT.DD). The initiative brings together 31 researchers from 11 research and higher education institutions across different regions of Brazil. All chapters examine specific questions about the role of communication in digital environments during Brazil’s 2018 elections.
Through empirical analyses of the development and distinctive features of the 2018 Brazilian election, these studies contribute to the academic debate on behalf of INCT.DD.
