To discuss Brazil’s political landscape on the eve of the election, INCT.DD will hold the roundtable “Lulism, Bolsonarism, and the electoral chessboard of 2018” on Tuesday, July 24, at 9:30 a.m. in the Facom auditorium at UFBA. The event will bring political scientist Sérgio Braga (UFPR) to Salvador. He will join political scientist Paulo Fábio Dantas (UFBA) and Facom professor and INCT.DD coordinator Wilson Gomes. Philosopher Crisostomo de Souza (UFBA) will moderate. The aim is to discuss the main developments that could influence the election and provide an overview of the forces competing this year.

The meeting is another of the institute’s activities in the 2018 election year. These will also include other events and an extensive study of the national election, coordinated and carried out with the entire INCT.DD research network.
