To prepare communication professionals for the new challenges of digital campaigns in 2018, the National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (INCT.DD) opens registration for its Strategic Management of Online Electoral Campaigns course. The training has two modules: the intermediate module is intended for professionals with some experience in the field, while the advanced module requires completion of the previous module.
Each module has 20 class hours and runs over one week, from 6:40 to 10 p.m., in the laboratories of the Federal University of Bahia School of Communication (Facom-UFBA). Students are advised to bring laptops for the practical activities. Participants will receive UFBA extension course certificates.
Intermediate module
The intermediate module is intended for professionals with some experience in political campaigns or digital communication who want to deepen and update their knowledge. It provides an integrated view of an election campaign with digital strategies, covering the main stages of the process.
Prerequisite: A completed or ongoing undergraduate degree, or professional experience in communication.

Advanced module
The advanced module is designed for professionals with deeper experience in digital communication or those who have completed the first module. It provides a more detailed study of topics that are central to digital campaigns and need more time for discussion.
Prerequisite: Completion of the intermediate module or demonstrated experience in strategic communication online.
