CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (INCT.DD) invites applications for two postdoctoral fellowships, each lasting 12 (twelve) months, with the possibility of renewal. Selected researchers will join INCT.DD’s central laboratory at the UFBA School of Communication in Salvador and work under Professor Wilson Gomes, INCT.DD coordinator.
1 – Prerequisites
- A doctorate in communication, political science, or a related field, completed after January 2020.
- Familiarity with digital political communication, its main topics, and methodological tools.
- Availability to move to Salvador and join the laboratory’s resident team.
2 – Responsibilities
- Join the central laboratory’s resident team and help carry out its teaching, research, and outreach projects, as well as support other laboratories in the network.
- Manage the laboratory and mentor undergraduate research, master’s, and doctoral students.
- Develop an individual research project and collaborate on research by the laboratory and INCT.DD network.
3 – Benefits
- The fellowship is a CNPq junior postdoctoral fellowship of R$5,200.00, plus a monthly research allowance of R$480.00.
4 – Selection
- Applications must be submitted exclusively through https://forms.gle/EEWTKWxPsR5bWQgo7 by 3 April 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Brasília time).
- Applicants must complete the form and attach an updated Lattes CV and a research proposal of up to 2 pages in the designated fields.
- The proposal must describe the research to be developed during the fellowship year and explain its connection to INCT.DD’s research areas.
- Selection has two elimination stages: 1) review of the CV and research proposal; 2) interview.
- First-stage results will be published by 14 April 2026 on INCT.DD’s website and social media, and applicants will be contacted by email.
- The second stage will take place on 20–23 April 2026 through an online platform.
- Final results will be published by 30 April on INCT.DD’s website and social media.
