The project “RIO – Suporte à Gestão de Relacionamentos Interorganizacionais” (RIO – Support for Managing Relationships Between Organizations), led by professor and INCT.DD researcher Claudia Cappelli (Unirio), is among the winners of the Jovem Cientista Nosso Estado program. Coordinated by Faperj, the program funds outstanding research in Brazil. The RIO project aims to explore how relationships between organizations are managed in both the private and government sectors. This approach supports the integration of participating organizations and allows their processes and information systems to work together. It also helps them develop the skills to work jointly and achieve shared goals, making collaboration effective and successful.
The project has already produced results: a paper published in the Business Process Management Workshops held in Spain. Coauthored with fellow Institute researcher Bruna Diirr, the paper discusses the management of relationships between organizations, using partnerships to combat corruption in Brazil as an example.
