The National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (INCT.DD) is accepting applications for two postdoctoral fellowships, each lasting 12 (twelve) months. Successful applicants will join INCT.DD’s central laboratory at UFBA’s Faculty of Communication in Salvador and work under the supervision of Professor Wilson Gomes, INCT.DD coordinator.
1 – Requirements
- A doctorate in communication, political science, or a related field, completed after June 2018.
- Familiarity with digital political communication, its main topics, and methodological tools.
- Availability to move to Salvador and join the laboratory’s resident team.
2 – Responsibilities
- Join the central laboratory’s resident team and carry out its teaching, research, and outreach projects, while supporting other laboratories in the network.
- Manage the laboratory and mentor undergraduate research, master’s, and doctoral students.
- Develop an individual research project and cooperate in research by the laboratory and the INCT.DD network.
3 – Benefits
- The fellowship is a CNPq junior postdoctoral fellowship of R$5,200.00, plus a research allowance of R$480.00 per month.
4 – Selection
- Applications must be submitted exclusively through the form below by 23:59 on 21 July 2023 (Brasília time).
- Applicants must complete the form and attach an updated Lattes CV and a research proposal of up to two pages in the designated fields.
- The proposal must describe the research to be carried out during the fellowship year and explain how it relates to INCT.DD’s research areas.
- Selection will have two elimination stages: 1) review of the CV and research proposal; 2) interview.
- First-stage results will be published by 25 July on the INCT.DD website and our social media channels, and candidates will be contacted by email.
- The second stage will take place on 26 and 27 July through an online platform.
- Final results will be published by 31 July on the INCT.DD website and our social media channels.
