CTPOL studies communication, technology, and politics, with attention to privacy, digital surveillance, regulation, data protection, transparency, open data, and digital democracy.
Research group affiliated with the School of Communication at the University of Brasilia (UnB). Its research focuses on privacy and communication policies in the twenty-first century: digital surveillance, regulation, and rights in the horizon of personal data protection. It also develops work on transparency, open data, and digital democracy: communicational parameters, normative indicators, and applications.
