Camilo de Oliveira Aggio

Professor in the Department of Social Communication at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG).

He is a professor in UFBA’s Graduate Program in Contemporary Communication and Culture and an associate researcher at the National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (INCT-DD). He is a member of the editorial board of Revista Compolitica and Revista Contemporanea. He completed postdoctoral work at POSCOM-UFBA. He holds a PhD in Political Communication from the Graduate Program in Contemporary Communication and Culture at the Federal University of Bahia. He completed a doctoral research period (PDSE/CAPES) at the State University of New York (SUNY) in Albany, NY, USA, under the co-supervision of Professor Jennifer Stromer-Galley through Capes’s Sandwich Doctorate Program Abroad. He is a member of the Communication, Internet, and Democracy group (CID) and an associate researcher at the Center for Advanced Studies in Digital Democracy and Electronic Government (CEADD).
