Carla Rizzotto

Professor at the Federal University of Parana.

She is a professor and researcher in the Department of Communication and the Graduate Program in Communication at the Federal University of Parana. She holds a PhD in Communication and Languages from Universidade Tuiuti do Parana (2013), a master’s degree from the same university (2008), and a degree in Social Communication - Advertising from the Federal University of Parana (2006). She coordinates the Communication and Political Participation Research Group (Compa) and is a member of UFPR’s Ethics Committee in Human and Social Sciences. She works mainly on online deliberation and conversation, communication and politics, gender studies, and media and digital activism.
