He holds bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science from the Federal University of Lavras (2006) and Statistics from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi (2023), a master’s degree in Systems Engineering (2008), and a PhD in Statistics and Agricultural Experimentation from the Federal University of Lavras (2012). He completed postdoctoral work at the School of Applied Mathematics (EMAp) at Fundacao Getulio Vargas (2012-2013) and at Embrapa Soybean (2024-2025). He is currently Associate Professor I at the Federal University of Bahia. He develops research projects in Statistics, Computational Modeling, and Artificial Intelligence. He is a member of the Communication, Internet, and Democracy Research Group (INCT.DD) and the Plant Growth-Promoting Microorganisms for Agricultural Sustainability and Environmental Responsibility group (INCT-MPCPAgro).
