Fernanda Cavassana

Professor at the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG).

She is a collaborating professor of Journalism at UEPG. She holds a PhD in Political Science (2020) and a master’s degree in Communication (2016) from UFPR, where she is associated with the Political Communication and Public Opinion research group (CPOP). She works at the interfaces of Communication and Political Science, mainly on political communication, elections, and public opinion. She completed postdoctoral work at the Institute of Social and Political Studies (IESP) at UERJ, where she is part of the Laboratory for Media and Public Sphere Studies (LEMEP).
