Rodrigo Carreiro

PhD in Contemporary Communication and Culture from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and Co-Executive Director of Alafia Lab.

He holds a PhD in Contemporary Communication and Culture from UFBA and a master’s degree from the same institution. He is a journalist by training and has a specialization in Journalism and Media Convergence. He is an associate researcher at the National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (INCT.DD), where he develops research on participation, social networks, online political discussion, and digital government. He previously completed postdoctoral work at the same institution. He is currently Co-Executive Director of Alafia Lab.
